This workshop will be devoted to the general area of computational
number theory, with a special emphasis on computational problems in
elliptic curves, particularly point counting, along withtheir application
to proimality testing; algebraic number theory algorithms (with particular
attention to the interger factoring problem - Number Field Sieve and
Lattice Sieve); and Grothendieck's dessins d'enfants. This list of topics
is flexible due to the possibility of new discoveries.
Invited speakers include:
D. Bernstein (University of California, Berkeley)
J. Buchmann (University of Saarland)
J. Buhler (Reed College)
H. Cohen (Universite de Bordeau)
N. Elkies (Harvard University)
A. Granville (University of Georgia)
