Local Organizing Commitee
The meeting, sponsored by the Fields Institute, will have two components: - a two weeks Summer School offering short introductory courses in various areas of operator algebra theory that are of major current interest, mainly targeted at graduate students and postdoctoral fellows; - the 33rd Canadian Operator Symposium which will be held in the honour of George Elliott on the occasion of his sixtieth birthday. Registration and Location of Lectures

Dr. Registration will take place there and on Sunday morning 8.30--8.55 at the door of the room B0138 of the Site building. The plenary lectures will take place in the room B0138 of the SITE building (This building is located at the southern boundary of the Campus). |

Funding Support
Support for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows to cover travel and local expenses will be available through the Fields Institute. The amount is not yet determined and will of course depend mainly on the total number of participants. The application deadline for financial support was April 22, and the decisions will be made the following week.
