September 6-7, 2012 Biannual Meeting in Noncommutative Geometry Hosted by the Fields Institute, Organizing Committee: N. Higson, C. Ingalls, M. Khalkhali, M. Lesch, and B. Rangipour.

Overview

This joint Workshop will take advantage of the variety of research of the members of the CNGT (Centre for Noncommutative Geometry and Topology). Plans are to have a multi-dimensional conference pivoted on Noncommutative Geometry. We
expect to have participants in two different areas: Noncommutative Geometry and Noncommutative algebraic Geometry.

The conference will have two parts and be in two locations. It will start with two days at Fields Institute, followed by a two day conference at Fredericton. We intend to have two subject areas represented with 4 mini-courses and two sessions. Plans are to have four mini-courses each three hours in the following areas.
1. Index theory
2. Representations of Hecke Algebras
