THE
FIELDS INSTITUTE FOR RESEARCH IN MATHEMATICAL SCIENCES
Wednesday
March 18 - Thursday March 19, 2015
Workshop on Mathematical Mobilization of Vaccine
Discovery and Development
Room
230
Fields Institute 222 College St. Toronto
|
|
Organizing
Committee:
Jane
Heffernan (York University),
Ayman Chit (North America at Sanofi Pasteur) |
|
OBJECTIVES
The principal objectives of the workshop are to:
1. Evaluate the successes of mathematical and economical model that have been
successfully integrated into the drug and vaccine discovery and development
process.
2. Identify components of the pharmaceutical development pathway that will
(better) benefit from mathematical modelling studies
3. Develop guidelines for the assessment of mathematical modelling results
for the pharmaceutical approval process
