The purpose of this program is to bring together experts in completely integrable systems and partial differential equations  to advance the understanding of qualitative and long-time behavior in dispersive nonlinear PDE's that describe surface and interfacial waves, many-body quantum systems,  magnetohydrodynamics, nonlinear optics, and many other areas of applied mathematics. Surprisingly, many canonical dispersive equations are completely integrable, so that powerful techniques of the completely integrable method can be brought to bear on  soliton resolution, soliton stability, large time-scale behavior, large-time asymptotics,  dispersive shocks, and other fundamental questions about long-time and qualitative behavior of these integrable models. Even more surprising is the fact that many qualitative behaviors uncovered by the inverse scattering method persist in related models which are far from integrable. Only the second major workshop of its kind,  this workshop will advance the "state of the art'' both in completely integrable methods and in the study of dispersive PDE by forging collaborative efforts to attack key challenges in the study of dispersive PDEs.
