Quantum Materials in Quantum Science Era
Description
In light of recent interest and development in quantum technology and quantum computation, quantum materials will serve as the platform for their operation, akin to the role of semiconductors in conventional computation. Bringing together scientists working in a variety of quantum materials areas to engage with this challenge would be instrumental in making connections between different kinds of effort in this direction. Our 3-day conference would be an ideal crucible for this, allowing for both presentation of recent results and ideas as well as an open, engaging atmosphere for wide-ranging discussions.
