Virtual Reality: Challenges and Opportunities
Virtual Reality (VR), as well as various other forms of Mixed Reality, could become a foundation of a computing platform of the future, offer new experiences and change how we interact with computers and with each other. However, before VR becomes ubiquitous many challenges have to be overcome. As a part of a larger VR development community, AMD is taking charge and helping to solve many technical problems to realise this grand vision.
Attendees of his talk should come away with a view of state of the VR development, ideas for many applications of VR in various fields and what needs to be done to make VR even better in a near future.
