The Fields Institute is primarily funded by the Federal and Provincial governments and nine Principal Sponsoring Universities from across Ontario, but we are also supported by numerous other Institutions and Centres across Canada and internationally. Explore all our partners and supporters below.
Government Support
The Fields Institute holds a National Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) grant through the Collaborative and Thematic Resources Support in Mathematics and Statistics Program (CTRMS) as well as a grant from the Ministry of Colleges and Universities (MCU). We also receive support from the National Sciences Foundation (NSF) for the participation of US-based researchers, especially women and other under-represented groups, in our programs.
Principal Sponsoring Universities
Our Principal Sponsoring Universities (PSU) form a network of world-class mathematicians and researchers that come together at Fields to innovate, collaborate, and learn.
