Mini-symposium on Rigidity of Particle Cluster Assembly
Description
This mini-symposium will bring together mathemmaticians, engineers, and physicists focusing on the structural, mechanical, and network properties of particle clusters that occur in many physical and biological systems. Topics will include the Gardner and glass transitions, jamming, nucleation and crystal formation, rigidity, packings of spherical and nonspherical particles, and energy landscapes. The program seeks to develop future collaborations among participants that will lead to rapid progress in particulate materials..
