Description
This is an advanced topics graduate course. The first lecture will be on September 16th, 2021. It will meet once a week for 1.5 hours on Thursdays at 11:00am EDT and will cover a variety of topics around applications of model theory.
The first few weeks will be taught by Rahim Moosa and will serve as an introduction to the model theory of differential and difference fields.
Co-ordinating Instructor: Rahim Moosa
The course can be combined with Topics in Pure Model Theory to form a single graduate course credit (for those to whom this is relevant)
Registered paricipants are to attend the course online via the link provided with registration. Currently only postdoctoral fellows, long term visitors and organizers of the program who have been given FOB access to the building can attend in person.
