BV formalism in perturbative algebraic quantum field theory

Abstract:
In this talk I will explain how gauge theories can be quantised within the framework of perturbative algebraic quantum field theory. This uses a version of the Batalin-Vilkovisky formalism and can be applied to models on a large class of Lorentzian manifolds.
