In this talk, I will share my on-going efforts to model COVID-19 cases in Ontario to forecast, daily, the epidemic trajectory. I will present the various models I used, why I chose them, and the challenges I faced (and still facing!) fitting those models to imperfectly observed data. I will briefly cover some theoretical aspects of the models, but most of this presentation will focus on practical issues.
