In this talk we shall describe the $T_{comp}$-equivariant topological $K$-ring of a $T$-{\it cellular} simplicial toric variety. If time permits we shall see some applications of these results to the equivariant $K$-theory of cellular toric bundles and related spaces. This is based on the results in math arXiv:2404.14201v3.
