Abstract:
An integral part of designing quantum algorithms involves translating abstract quantum oracles and subroutines into circuit descriptions at the gate level—a very tedious task. In fault-tolerant quantum computing, said circuits are often much too large to explicitly simulate, yet there is mathematical proof of correctness. Software to track resources of said circuits thus becomes integral for end-to-end circuit design. In this demo, we will showcase PennyLane’s resource estimation tools and demonstrate how they can be used to rapidly estimate the cost of quantum algorithms.
