Readings and Breakout Groups
After a brief introduction to the books, participants in the Forum are invited to read some of the selected passages from both books and connect them to the contemporary curriculum at various levels of education. Groups will be formed near the beginning of the session to encourage rich discussion.
Bios: Parker Glynn-Adey is a mathematician and teacher at the University of Toronto. Charles Anifowose is a designer and co-founder at Vretta, a technology company which works on digital tools to support learning and large-scale assessment. Tina Rapke is an Assistant Professor in York University’s Faculty of Education.
