After a short introduction to free probability, I will discuss regularity questions for free convolutions. I will report some recent progress in the study of superconvergence phenomenon in general limit theorems in free probability. Both the free additive case and the free multiplicative case will be discussed. Joint work with Hari Bercovici and Jiun-Chau Wang.
