A very refined BV calculus, which closely resembles the Euclidean one, is available by now also in the setting of RCD spaces.

The aim of my talk is to report on several recent papers concerning this topic. Among other things, I will discuss two

representation formulas for the perimeter measure, a notion of distributional differential of a BV map, and the RCD version

of Alberti's Rank-One Theorem
