The discussion will centre on certain moduli spaces of meromorphic connections with irregular singularities over the projective line. The aspects mentioned include the computation of some geometric invariants, the relation to quivers with multiplicities, and hyperkaehler geometry. If time permits, we will also look at the twisted case, for which some special cases recover well-known gravitational instantons, such as the Atiyah--Hitchin space.
