Abstract:
Small covers are a real analogue of quasitoric manifolds. In this talk, we will describe the quotient space of an orientable 3-dimensional small cover by an orientation-preserving involution. If the quotient space is the 3-sphere, then the corresponding small cover is a 2-fold branched covering of the 3-sphere along a link. We will provide a description of this link in terms of polytope and characteristic function.
