Calcium phosphate aggregation occurs spontaneously in biology due to high concentrations of constituent ions. This talk examines this aggregation process using a classical continuum theory whereby regulatory processes play a role. Using this theory we will examine tissue calcification and implications of intracellular aggregations which may play a role in neurological pathologies.
